How We’re Advancing Medical Innovation
At MediSurge, we’re dedicated to innovating and pushing the boundaries of the medical industry. Our team works together to make that dream a possibility, through programs like quality assurance, collaborations, and more.
The future of website creation is here.
We’ve put together a brief list of some of the ways we push the envelope in our industry.
Advanced Quality Assurance Procedures
Our quality measures include several reactive and proactive quality measures, so we can be sure to produce only the highest quality medical devices. Our production manager is inside of our Class 7 Cleanroom at all times, so they can oversee all operations and ensure that everything is up to our quality standards.
Additionally, we have an effective feedback loop. Because of this we are able to immediately respond to every concern that is submitted to us, which allows us to maintain our customer complaint rate at a very low 0.035% in 2019 and 0.014% since we opened. This feedback allows us to constantly improve our procedures, products, and more.
Scrap-Eliminating Damages
We track trending metrics across our team, so if anything fluctuates, we can trace it back to the source. This allows us to notice and counteract increases in scrap.
For example, one of our product lines was producing 1% scrap in 2018. That metric rose at the start of 2019 to 5.5%. Our team pulled this process aside, evaluated it, and took the necessary steps to return the rate below 1% in just three months.
Our attention to small details translates directly into savings for our customers. When we cut back on scrap, they save, and the medical industry profits from it.
Innovative Techniques
Our team is proud to collaborate with local organizations to advance medical technology. We have been working closely with Grand Valley State University’s aMDI program in a new additive 3D printing technique.
Since 3D printing can be performed quickly and effectively, this technique will allow for reduced start-up costs and improved time to market. We are proud to work with the next generation of medical professionals on this project.
At the end of the study, MediSurge will be the first medical device company in the Midwest to offer this cutting-edge technology. Continue to follow our blog for continued updates on this project.
Our team is passionate about creating the healthcare of the future, today. Are you ready to innovate with us? Reach out to us today. We can’t wait to work with you.
