Why We’re Proud to be Veteran Owned
We talk a lot about how excited we are to be a part of such an amazing team. In fact, everyone who works at MediSurge is dedicated to achieving amazing things in the medical device industry.
The future of website creation is here.
That dedication comes from the pride we have for our organization and its roots. That’s why, in honor of Veterans Day, we wanted to put a spotlight on the veteran who founded our company: Bob Taylor.
YEARS OF SERVICE
It’s easy for us to be inspired by the veterans in our communities. Each and every one of them have dedicated their lives to fight for our freedom, and that includes Bob.
Bob joined the Air Force and served as a B-52 navigator. He participated in Operation Desert Storm by flying eleven separate missions. His work earned him the Air Force’s Air Medal, and eventually Bob became a KC-135 navigator.
Bob was promoted to the rank of Major, and he is proud to be an Air Force Veteran.
GIVING BACK
Bob didn’t forget his Air Force roots after he returned to civilian life. In fact, it was his time spent in the military that gave him the knowledge and experience necessary to start our parent company, Alliant Healthcare. From there, MediSurge was born to help provide patients with high-quality medical devices. That’s why we work every day to change lives.
But Bob didn’t stop there. He founded the Patriot Promise Foundation to raise money towards finding a more proactive treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for veterans. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that between 11-20% of veterans suffer from PTSD, which is why a more proactive treatment is necessary in order for these service people to combat this devastating condition.
SAYING THANK YOU
As a company that was founded by a veteran, we at MediSurge want to thank all veterans for their service. We honor and thank all of you for your hard work, sacrifice, and dedication.
MediSurge is proud to be veteran owned. We continue to strive to change lives through our medical devices and to follow through on Bob’s vision to give back to the community, both for veterans and civilians alike.
